We
are a family run business and operate from our own farm in the
beautiful islands of Orkney off the north coast of Scotland.
Our goal is to produce the finest beef and lamb possible and
sell it direct to consumers right across the UK, ensuring the
ultimate in health and traceability.
Beef & Lamb
We have a beef suckler herd of 150 cows and
630 Shetland x Cheviot breeding sheep. These are raised extensively
on our grassland and heather hill. Strict organic standards govern
every aspect of our farming. Our animals are allowed to grow
at their own pace and are not force fed to achieve quick sales.
Animal welfare is a top priority. Artificial fertilisers and
chemical sprays are not used on our farm at all.
Our meat is prepared locally in an approved
abattoir, meeting the strict UK and Organic standards. The beef
is hung for at least 2 weeks to ensure the flavour and tenderness
are the finest. As we want you to enjoy our meat to the full
we will try to accommodate any specific butchery requirements
you may have. The meat is vacuum packed and delivered to your
door in an insulated box. It is suitable for immediate home freezing
or can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
