Rick Stein Food Heros
The producers on this site ha've been chosen to be relevant to the recipes in Rick Stein's book. But it's still an excellent resource of producers and farmers markets.

Most of these meat producers sell online and by mail order as well as from farm shops and markets. The list is for producers who grass feed their animals or feed a natural diet. Some are also organic. It worth discussing the diet of the animals with the producer as some farmers are use some grain feeding to supplement grass and one or two may be using soya. Winter diets vary from home made silage and hay to grain and cake, (check what's in the silage if you have allergies to things like soya). You need to be clear about what you're buying.
