Organics Ltd is a co-operative of organic farmers from throughout
Wales who have joined together to market their organic meat direct
to the public.
They have pasture reared Welsh Mountain Lamb,
the smallest lambs usually come from the highest pastures where
they graze on heathers and other mountain grasses, giving them
a very special flavour. In season from late summer to early winter.
Organic Welsh beef, especially Welsh Blacks,
pasture fed and hung for three weeks to enhance its
flavour
and tenderness.
Organic pigs are reared outdoors all the year
round, in paddocks where they are able to follow their natural
inclination to root and graze.
Organic chickens, grown slowly, fed on grass.
All meat comes with a farm code which tells
you which farm your meat came from. You can see all the farms on
the site. Some give good details of their feeding regimes.
